Over the years we’ve made charitable donations of vouchers for driving lessons to local fundraisers. We also regularly sponsor local events such as Allendale Mayfair. In more recent years, we have sponsored Haydon Bridge Football Club, who have a great local club.
Tuesday 3rd June @ Hexham Auction Mart. (Either 6pm-7pm or 7pm-8pm). Our instructor, John Chilton (ex Firefighter), is working in conjunction with Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service in hosting a driver awareness session for the prevention of road traffic collisions.
There will be a presentation by Fire Service personnel, to learn defensive and safe driving techniques.
The topics will cover the consequences of:
Speeding
Drink & Drugs
Distractions
Not Wearing Seatbelts
The road safety presentation will be followed by a demonstration of the extrication methods used by the Fire Service when releasing casualties from road traffic collisions.
These 2 sessions are open to anyone. No need to book, turn up at the time that is convenient to you.
